Harry Styles parties with Caroline Flack; Niall Horan parties with Liam Payne
Three members of "X-Factor U.K. boy band One Direction spent the night of August 10, 2012, at two different birthday parties in London. One Direction's Harry Styles, 18, was at radio DJ Nick Grimshaw's star-studded 27th birthday bash at the Groucho Club (where Styles was seen chatting with ex-girlfriend Caroline Flack), while One Direction's Niall Horan and Liam Payne (also 18) partied together at Funky Buddha Club, in celebration of the 22nd birthday of One Direction drummer Josh Devine.
Styles and "The Xtra Factor" co-host Flack (who is 15 years older than Styles) dated from October 20122 to January 2012. Styles said on Twitter that they broke up by a "mutual decision." However, there have been rumors that Styles still sends Flack flirty texts and hasn't ruled out the possibility of occasionally hooking up with Flack again.
Inside the party, Styles and Flack reportedly had an intense conversation but they were careful not to give the impression that they were back together. According to The Sun and Pacific Coast News, Flack and Styles left Grimshaw's birthday party separately, five minutes apart, at around 5 a.m.
Styles exited alone through the Groucho Club's back door and left in a car filled with some young men and women, while Flack left through the front door and departed alone in a taxi.
Meanwhile, Horan and Payne seem to be developing a closer friendship with each other, since they have been seen recently doing things separately from the rest of the members of One Direction. On August 2, 2012, Payne and Horan did a surprise performance together at the Westfield shopping mall in London's Shepherds Bush neighborhood.
At the birthday party for Devine, it was a guys' night out for Horan and Payne, as they arrived and left separately without any female companions.
Horan, who has been posting numerous Twitter messages of support for Irish boxers at the 2012 Olumpics, tweeted after the party:
One Direction will do more recording in the Los Angeles area in September 2012, and we can expect to see Styles partying a lot there too. Los Angeles and Beverly Hills have no shortage of beautiful people, so Styles will be like a kid in a candy store.
